CG artist / researcher

A computer-graphics researcher and artist. Masaki builds his own software to explore how mathematics gives rise to form — fractals, periodic spaces, ray tracing — and presents what it discloses as art. Much of the research is published as open source.

Monk

Chief priest of Gyokusenzan Ankokuin, a Nichiren Buddhist temple. He teaches the Middle Way at the heart of Buddhism, free of excessive dogma or mystique, and opened Tachibana Gallery — a cultural hall for art and coffee — within the temple grounds.

Art is a new perspective.Science is a new perspective.Buddhism is a new perspective.I make them interchangeable.
